Your safety is important to us. We'd like you to enjoy the bike racks and use them in a safe manner.
The following are a few tips to help both you and your operator:

  • As the bus approaches, have your bike ready to load. Remove water bottles, pumps or any loose items.
  • Always get the driver's attention before you load or unload your bicycle.
  • Always load from the curb-side of the street.
  • Place bike in outside slot of rack if empty.
  • Make sure the support arm is resting on the tire and not on the fender or frame.
  • Sit up front and keep eye on your bicycle.
  • Return empty rack to the upright position, after you remove your bicycle.
What if You Your Bicycle on the Bus?

If you left your bicycle on the bus and want to claim it, contact us at 860-510-0429. Allow a day or two before calling because the bicycle will go through a process of identification and delivery before it is available. The bike will only be held for a period of 30 days. Unclaimed bicycles are given away to local charities. Please call if you have any questions, 860-510-0429 or ask your driver!
