$88,000 raised In Benefit
The fifth annual Shoreline Buddy Walk was a huge success at Hammonasset State Park last Saturday, with more than $88,000 raised to benefit Connecticut children and adults with Down syndrome. 9 Town Transit Awarded $325,000 in Stimulus Funds:
The Estuary Transit District’s 9 Town Transit has been awarded $325,000 in capital funds through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), commonly referred to as the economic stimulus. The funding was recently announced by the Connecticut Department of Transportation, and is a 100% federal grant with no matching funds required. Read More

Senior Fares: Our current senior tickets will expire on September 30th. The funding for this program has been extended, however, it will be administered in a way that will be easier both for ETD & our passengers. Beginning October 1st, tickets will no longer be required to get the free senior fare. Instead, all Dial-A-Ride and off-route trips will be tracked by our scheduling software. |
